CAPS© is a computerized software program designed specifically to meet or exceed the requirements, rules, and regulations of state departments of education for attendance accounting. CAPS© provides an administrative tool for schools to use for the efficient gathering, processing, analyzing, and reporting of other student data.

Up to twenty-six different school calendars, staff, and holidays can all share a single PC, each with its own data base!

CAPS© is made up of modules that are fully integrated into a comprehensive system. The modules will also stand alone. Over 35 years of experience in public school teaching, counseling, and administration led to the development of CAPS©.

CAPS© has been designed by professional educators who are aware that teachers' time used in clerical tasks is time taken away from educating students.

Simplicity of application and ease of use were key words in the development of the modules. The reduction of time required for non-teaching tasks; site or local control of data input and output; local or site generation of all required forms; applications from manual data entries to state of the art technology; the ability to use older model PCs and printers to the newest PCs and laser or ink jet printers; any operating system from Windows 98 to Windows XP; and an increased efficiency were the primary goals used in the development of the software.

CAPS© uses a fully integrated and unique data base structure to insure the smooth flow of data between modules. The ability to access multiple data bases from within a single program makes CAPS© unique.
